On this tour you'll get
to know two countries, Spain and Portugal, that
share a common geographic and historical vicinity,
but that are at the same time different in regard to
customs and architecture.
If you are a
connoisseur of Spain, on this tour you'll be able to
see other regions of Spain that will amaze you for
their scenery, houses and customs. Segovia with its
Roman aqueduct, the Extremaduran region with its
large farms and its relaxing landscape, Mérida
with its Roman theatre, and we also highlight
Cuenca, a unique city that seems to have risen from
a fairy tale, what with its "hanging
houses".
And on another note,
Portugal, a country always open to the diverse
civilizations that have left monumental and artistic
values, also a country of pioneers in the opening of
maritime routes to India, South America and China.
To be noted are the
diverse monasteries declared to be a Heritage of
Humanity, Porto, the city where the famous wine with
the same name comes from. Coimbra, where Europe's
most ancient university is located. We will finally
end in the legendary city of Lisbon, the country
capital that is surrounded by royal castles.
